Launch of Shared RISK documentation 2014-15

0JSeptember2015 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Shared RISK documentation 2014-15 marks the end of the Shared RISK project. Through a series of different events, our aim with this project was to encourage a more open and committed dialogue between choreographers who are affiliated with the scene in Denmark. We wanted to create situations that could help manifest a more concentrated and outspoken network to make us more visible – nationally and internationally, among relevant institutions and in regard to Danish cultural politics. Shared RISK included a series of workshops, work/practice presentations, a research sharing format called Shared RESEARCH and the launch of the community blog Shared BLOG.

Shared RISK documentation 2014-15 includes blog-posts by 23 choreographers/collectives as well as three newly written texts made exclusively for this booklet. The writers are: Klara Utke Acs, Kirstine Kyhl Andersen, Danjel Andersson, Sarah Armstrong, Quim Bigas, Fanclub, Christine Borch, Sara Gebran, Julia Giertz, Sara Hamming, Mette Ingvartsen, Adriano Wilfert Jensen, My Lindblad, Matilde Mørk, Xiri Tara Noir, Dorte Persson, Mr. Rice & Peanuts, Michael Richardt, Ray Roa, RISK, Sigrid Stigsdatter, Marie Topp, two-women-machine-show, Taneli Törmä, Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt and Karen Vedel.

The launch event will be an informal hangout, with the chance to read, talk and discuss the content of the booklet. There is no need to sign up, just come by and pick up your copy.

We hope to see you there!

PS:
Right after the launch, at 17.00, the performance TRANS- by two-women-machine-show and Jonathan Bonnici will happen at Lille Scene, Dansehallerne.
