T R A N S- is inspired by ceremonial structures. The audience is seated in a circular formation around the four performers on stage. The performers work with a practise of describing all they see, thus the audience and the space itself becomes the source for the evening’s performance. LAYERS OF US exhibition 28-30 of August 2015 in Odense. Exhibition is latest out come of Taneli Törmä´s & Nille Bech collaboration. Bech and Törmä has done 4 different kind (TRY-OUT) research projects and performed them in different venues in Denmark. Projects researching cross connection between paint and dance/body. Dancer, choreographer Taneli Törmä / Location X create open work/performance place Squeezed Humanity project for empty ice bear cage in Helsinki ZOO in Finland. Törmä work inside the cage 6 hours non stop and invites Finnish and Danish artists from different fields to meet him and give impulses to work in exceptional circumstances. Event is part of Grey Cube Festival. Helsinki ZOO in Finland in 4th of September 2015.

Shared RISK documentation 2014-15 marks the end of the Shared RISK project. Through a series of different events, our aim with this project was to encourage a more open and committed dialogue between choreographers who are affiliated with the scene in Denmark. In Between Concrete A choreographic work that examines the materiality of absence. Four bodies wrapped in fabric begin their restricted movement through space. The constant alternation between form and dissolution creates a sculptural abstraction, replacing the recognizable with the intangible. ”You cannot craft the in between, but you can craft the concrete out of which the in between will appear.
